Good Morning Call #7 and Atashi wa Bambi #1 are coming out on the 14th! In plenty of time for getting in Japan ^_^. No, well although I love GMC (as I think everything about this blog shows) then I probably won't get that. I'm working my way up from the bottom and I'm not ready for 9 yet. GMC hasn't actually been as good lately although it's a shocking thing to say. I don't know who a lot of the male side-characters are and there's been a lot of stuff about them. But I'll definitely try and find Bambi, I love Mai-chan, and Youko Maki's artwork! The thing is it will be hard for me to 'search out' specific manga ... I think I will only make it into one manga shop altogether. Well I'll just have to hope that one shop has Bambi! *crosses fingers*
Other news, hmm ... I've found at least one cd I want to get. It's Do As Infinity's 3rd album, out on the 19th of Sept, called "Deep Forest". It has Week! which is a very cheerful song and Fukai Mori (the ending to an anime I think??), which I LOVE. Listening to their past music it's all very good, I love Tangerine Dream a lot too! Ah, Shudaika is my heaven site - music and video clips and new-release info of rarer Japanese artists!
Hmm also, I've been thinking about what phonebook mangas I want to buy. There are lots I'd like to try out! Like Cookie, Margaret, Hana to Yume and Betsu-Comi. That's just the bare minimum list! I will probably end up getting Ribon 10 too, although I haven't ordered it since it didn't look that great, being in Japan with it just sitting on the shelf in front of me will be too much of a temptation I think ^^;;;. HOW am I going to fit all these in my suitcase??? Ack ~~~ It's going to be impossible, those things are huge (which is part of their appeal, but ... not handy for travelling). I'll just have to try and buy them late in the trip, and hopefully, not miss out on one I want because I think I can find it again later! But phonebook magazines are pretty common in Japan, just like any magazine, so it should be O. K. ^__^
