I haven't been here for ages ^^;;;. feh, whatever. This blog is not really a personal one, it seems. It's a manga one (and anime a little). Well, anyway, that's good! I love reading manga blogs, maybe other people do too. Not that mine provides any especially up-to-date or hard-to-find information, but it just talks about things that might be interesting. ........ Yes. I'll get back to it then.
I read on a mailing list that Hana to Yume 18 came with a HanaKimi Sano & Shin (brothers) clearfile! The issue had a cover of Mizuki too. Now I'm mad because it's too late for me to get that issue, but I really want that file ... I have a thing for clearfiles. Useful, and with great art! And a HanaKimi one *sparkles* with Sano and Shin on it *more sparkles* would be so good ...... maybe one will turn up on Ebay? But often they don't post to Australia anyway, and the bidding price can go pretty high. So I guess I will live a life deprived of a Sano & Shin clearfile ;_; .........
In Ribon news, I missed out on a great thing there too - the Summer (Natsu) special. It had an epilogue chapter of Random Walk, and side stories for most of the current series in Ribon I think. And the furoku was an "Idol Postcard" set, with six colour postcards, from 6 of the stories. I would love to have that! I was really tempted to order it in actually, but I decided it would cost too much, and however adorable the postcards were, they weren't worth it ..... maybe it'll still be on sale when I GO TO JAPAN in September! Yes, it's true!! *happy dance* I'm going to Japan for a holiday with my family. We're only going for about 12 days but it's GREAT and I'm looking forwards to it so much ^_____^. We are going to Tokyo, Kyoto and a smaller town called Takayama, as well as planning day trips to Nara, Mt Fuji and so on. It will be so exciting! I can't wait to just be there, to be able to walk down the streets and take everything in. Of course while I'm there I'll try and pick up some manga but that's not the aim of this trip at all! I really like Japan, both its traditional and pop culture are so interesting .... hopefully going there will just increase my liking. So yes, that's the big news I guess ^^
